09 Jan 09 Easier to Become the Next Star-Wars Kid

mhs-pm1Kids these days, they love their social networks.  I know it, you know it, and apparently so does Kelly Davis, director of camcorder marketing at Sony Electronics.  Sony has unveiled the MHS-CM1 and MHS-PM1 Webbie HD™ cameras today at CES. According to Kelly Davis, “Webbie HD cameras are perfect for youth culture, who love to share moments on social networks as they happen,” Why are the kids going to love it?  Aside from being small, lightweight, and available indifferent colors (eggplant, orange and silver) it also sports HD video at 1440×1080/30p and 5-megapixel still photos.  The social network magic comes in with the embedded software.  Plug the camera in to your usb port and just a few clicks later the content is up in the cloud.

The price for your child’s next must have gadget is set at $170 to $200.
